Ambre Lake is an accomplished actress who began her acting career at a very young age. To hone her skills, she fulfilled a Bachelors Degree in Theatre minoring in Music and Dance with honors from Troy State University in Alabama. She continued her educational career at Michigan State University where she completed her Masters in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Acting and Dance.
After graduating, Ambre immediately began her film career with a role in Sweet Home Alabama in which she played the Wedding Coordinator. Most recently, she wrapped filming on Eden Court with fellow actors Stephanie Weir and Tom Lennon.
Currently, she can be seen on the TBS series called the “Blotter Series” as well as commercials on MTV2 and a recently shot commercial in Chicago with the legendary Coach Mike Ditka.
Ambre enjoys numerous physical activities including Dance, which she has been studying since the age of 6, with a forte in Tap, Modern and Jazz. She has been involved with several dance troupes throughout the years including a Modern Troupe at Michigan State University led by Whitley Setrakian where she was featured as one of the lead dancers. While Ambre was working towards her Dance degree at Troy State University, she volunteered in the community by teaching dance and aerobics to the elderly and also produced an instructional dance video.
Ambre currently resides in Chicago, IL where she enjoys co-hosting the nationally syndicated show “Health and Lifestyles Weekly”. Although she loves her new home, her heart will always be in Sweet Home Alabama.


DAVE GROTTO, RD, LD
Dave Grotto has served as the director of nutrition education at the Block Center for Integrative Cancer Care in Evanston Illinois for the past 10 years and is responsible for overseeing all nutrition services provided at the center. Previously, Dave worked in the natural foods industry for over 25 years, having owned and operated his own natural food store for over 18 years. He was the director of a heart disease reversal program in Chicago in the early 1990s based on the work Dean Ornish, MD.
As a registered and licensed dietitian, Dave has served as national media spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and has been featured in numerous print, radio and television interviews. He hosted the popular live radio program, “Let’s Talk Health, CHICAGO!” for over 10 years on station AM 1160, WYLL and now co-hosts a nationally syndicated show called, “Health & Lifestyles Weekly” on the America One Television Network.
